Position Highlights
- 40 hour working week with no weekend or on call work
- Join a supportive multidisciplinary team including: Medical Officers, Clinical Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, Registered Nurses and Social Workers, and employment specialists.
- Bring your psychiatric skills and experience to a community mental health team managing adult patients in Blenheim
- Experience in liaison psychiatry is advantageous
- Supervise and participate in teaching of junior medical workforce
Professional Requirements
- FRANZCP or equivalent specialist qualification
- Eligible for vocational or provisional vocational registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand
Remuneration Package
- Salary (ASMS scale depending upon experience)
- superannuation at 6%
- 6 weeks annual leave
- 12 days public holidays
- 10 days study leave plus NZD16K pa for expenses
- generous relocation package - be reimbursed a competitive relocation, accommodation, and car rental expenses
