- The Breast Care Centre provides diagnostic clinics and screening assessment clinics, delivered by a team of dedicated MITs, breast surgeons, breast nurses and clerical staff, with weekly MDM meetings to discuss patient management.
- two mobile units providing breast screening services
- Scope of work includes reporting breast imaging, interpreting and reporting imaging studies including CT, Ultrasound, X-Ray and MRI.
- report a broad mix of complex clinical cases.
- workload will also include general radiology and acute imaging.
- participate in multidisciplinary meetings, teach registrars, and be involved with the continual development of high standards within the department.
Requirements
- Fellowship of the Royal Australia and New Zealand College of Radiologists (FRANZCR) or an equivalent qualification and be eligible for vocational registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ).
- Fellowship in breast radiology
- Accreditation with Breeastscreen Aoteaora or be willing to achieve accreditation with support
- Experience in performing breast biopsies and localization procedures, x-ray and ultrasound guided
Remuneration
- salary and allowances NZD 200,000 - 450,000 PA DOE
