Seeking a consultant emergency medicine physician for a full time job in 24/7 ED located in a 150 bed hospital in greater Wellington region.
Position Highlights
- permanent , full time job in public sector hospital, 150 beds, secondary care just 90 minutes from Wellington
- busy teaching emergency department seeing approximately 17,000 patients per year (20% paediatric), with an admission rate of about 30%.
- work closely with primary care to develop care pathways and better manager acute demand.
- working week 40 hours with shifts

- Eligible for Vocational or Provisional Vocational Scope Registration with the New Zealand Medical Council.
- FACEM or specialist qualification in emergency medicine
- experience in paediatric emergency medicine helpful
- Attractive salary between NZD 200,000 and NZD 350,000 PA.
