Position Highlights
- 110 bed general hospital proving secondary medical and surgical services with tertiary referral to Hamilton
- team of three Otolaryngologists who are working collaboratively to provide high quality care and to improve equity and health outcomes for the Māori and Pasifika populations.
- ENT surgical team is supported by a Clinical Nurse Specialist and Audiologist.
- see the full range of patients in this role and perform a variety of procedures such as endoscopic sinus surgery, middle ear surgery, facial skin cancer surgery and paediatric ENT procedures
- all major head & neck surgery is currently carried out at the tertiary hospital in Hamilton
- assist with the education and supervision of surgical staff and medical students.

- Salary dependent upon experience and ASMS scale
- Allowances for on call and extra duties
- Total remuneration NZD 200000 - 400000 PA
- superannuation 6%
- 6 weeks annual leave
- Study leave 10 days PA plus NZD 16K PA

- Reimbursement of costs of medical practice
- FRACS or equivalent qualification
- Eligible for vocational or provisional vocational registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand
