Position Highlights
- 100 bed general public hospital providing secondary medical and surgical services
- 40 hour working week plus on call rota 1in 6 with on site registrar 24 hour cover
- Diagnostic services include MRI, CT, Laboratory.
- Supervise and participate in teaching of junior medical workforce
Professional Requirements
- FRACP or equivalent specialist qualification
- Eligible for vocational or provisional vocational registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand in the scope of general medicine
Remuneration Package
- Salary (ASMS scale depending upon experience)
- On call allowances
- superannuation at 6%
- 6 weeks annual leave
- 12 days public holidays
- 10 days study leave plus NZD16K pa for expenses
