The ideal candidate will be board certified and possess a minimum of three years of experience in a clinical setting. Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Care:
- Provide comprehensive family medicine services, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic illnesses for patients of all ages.
- Utilise a functional or integrative medicine approach to address the root causes of health issues and promote holistic wellness.
- Develop individualised care plans that incorporate conventional medicine, lifestyle modifications, nutrition, stress management, and other integrative therapies.
- Perform and interpret diagnostic tests and procedures as needed.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity and coordination of care.
- Educate patients and their families on preventive care, wellness strategies, and treatment options.
- Advocate for patients' health and well-being, providing guidance on lifestyle choices that support overall health.
- Empower patients to take an active role in their health management through informed decision-making.
- Stay current with developments in family medicine, functional medicine, and integrative medicine through continuous education and professional development.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, case conferences, and collaborative care initiatives.
- Contribute to the development of integrative and functional medicine protocols and guidelines within the practice.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the practice's overall mission and goals.
- Support the administrative team with scheduling, billing, and other operational tasks as needed.
Qualifications:

- Education and Certification:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Board certification in Family Medicine or MRCGP, FRACGP or equivalent qualification
- Additional training or certification in Functional Medicine or Integrative Medicine is highly desirable.
- Experience:
- A minimum of three years of clinical experience in family medicine.
- Demonstrated experience or strong interest in functional or integrative medicine.
