Seeking a consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist for a full time job in one of New Zealand's most attractive towns outside Wellington proving general obstetric and gynaecology services.
Position Highlights
- permanent , full time job in public sector hospital, 150 beds, secondary care just 90 minutes from Wellington
- average of 600 births per annum.
- Tertiary hospital services, including delivery of premature labours below 34 weeks is provided by Wellington hospital.
- Gynaecology service is general and there may be the opportunity to develop special areas of interest.
- working week 40 hours with on call 1 in 5

- Eligible for Vocational or Provisional Vocational Scope Registration with the New Zealand Medical Council.
- FRANZCOG or specialist qualification in obstetrics and gynaecology
- at least two years post graduate obstetrics and gynaecology specialty experience.
- Have experience and confidence with both colposcopy and obstetric ultrasound scanning.
- Attractive salary between NZD 200,000 and NZD 350,000 PA.
- 6 weeks of annual leave.
