Position Highlights
- work with a dedicated and friendly team of more than 50 Radiologists, supported by the wider team of over 170 staff, including Registrars, Sonographers, Radiographers, Nurses, RIS-PACS and administrative support staff.
- department performs over 225,000 procedures a year for a population of 590,000 South Auckland residents
- opening a new state of the art department within the next 24 months.
- accredited, 850-bed, teaching hospital of Auckland University and University of Otago, well-known internationally for world class work in orthopaedics; burns and spinal injury rehabilitation
- other specialist services include neonatal intensive care, renal dialysis, and reconstructive and maxillofacial surgery.
FRANZCR or equivalent qualification
Eligible for vocational registration within the scope of radiology with the Medical Council of New Zealand or Special Purpose Locum Tenens registration
Remuneration Package
The remuneration packages defined by the SECA Collective Agreement
- basic salary for a 40 hour week and additional allowances for on Call Duty
- six weeks holiday per year
- 10 days study leave plus an allowance of 16,000 dollars per year
- relocation package covering cost of removal to New Zealand
- superannuation
