- 35-bed medical unit providing General Medical services
- 40 hour week plus on call rota
- inpatient management with ward rounds
- 2 out patient clinics and ECG stress clinic per week
- opportunities for additional clinics if desired and also the ability for candidates with dual training to negotiate a sub-speciality practice.
- support other departments within the hospital, providing support and advice to the emergency department and critical care units.
- Supporting Registrars and Resident Medical Officers, you will be able to draw on support from the link with Wellington's training programme and will serve as a mentor for these more junior physicians.

Remuneration and Benefits
In addition to joining a highly-skilled and dedicated team in a picturesque part of the North Island, you will receive an attractive remuneration package of $316,252 - $405,775 plus 6% Kiwi Saver.
