All candidates must be able to provide the following:
- A current Working with Children Card (can be obtained locally)
- Current Criminal Record Screening Clearance (within 12 months)
- Medical Indemnity Insurance detaills
- Must have a minimum 3 years experience in emergency department in Australia
- Must be PGY6 or above
- Must have ALS2
- GP Specialist Qualifications (FRACGP and/or
FACCRM)
OR
In the absence of a GP Specialist Qualification, the CMP must be assessed as a (senior) HBMP
AND
Considerable Emergency Medicine experience in a rural setting - Current ED CME qualifications e.g., NNR, ALS2, ATLS, APLS, PROMPT, EMST, EMET, Rural Emergency Simulation Training (REST)
