Commencing July 2025 for PGY3+ resident medical officer physicians, basic or advanced RACP trainees, registrar jobs in general medicine.

- 260 bed general level 2 hospital with 24/7 emergency department
- Accredited for 24 months ACEM advanced training and paediatric logbook requirements.
- Work side by side with a dedicated team including 23 very experienced Emergency Physicians.
- Close supervision for trainees with a weekly commitment to clinical teaching.
- Gain experience in many procedures and develop your clinical skills
- Rotations to other specialty services (ICU, Anaesthetics, Paediatrics, and Medicine) are established
- Well supported by all the other services. Emergency Medicine staff actively utilise ultrasound in their patient care, with two machines in the ED including the latest sonosite

Professional Requirements
- A degree in medicine - MBBS, MBChB, MD
- A minimum of 2 years pre-vocational training - FY1/2, internship
- A minimum of 6 months experience in general medicine or emergency medicine
- Medical Council of New Zealand general registration or eligibility for this
- salaried job with options of STONZ, NZRDA or IEA pay rates
